Bathroom
Tip Number 1: Placement is key.
Bathrooms are known to be tricky when it comes to good-looking lighting as they rarely have a lot of natural light! It’s either too harsh, too dim, or a bit of an eyesore.
Be mindful of placement when it comes to bathroom lighting to avoid awkward dark corners and try to create a balance within the small space.
We recommend wall lights placed strategically around your vanity mirror, task lighting above the shower or bath (or both if you’re lucky) and consider dimmers too, as harsh lighting first thing in the morning isn’t always the ideal wake up call.
Tip Number 2: IP Ratings
Remember, safety is a huge thing to consider when it comes to bathroom lighting because electricity and water…don’t exactly mix. Lights that are designed with the proper IP rating are a must have!
