1. A new-build box room infused with personality

This small home office makeover was a surprise hit of 2024 – proof that big personalities come in small packages!
Because, let’s face it, no one wants to spend their workday staring at four blank walls. When our client moved into their new build, they knew this boring box room needed a glow-up – stat. Enter our design team, ready to turn plain and poky into stylish and inspiring.
Step one? Colour. In small spaces, choosing the right paint colour can be tricky, but we threw the rulebook out and went for this dreamy aqua green. It instantly made the room feel brighter, fresher, and way more inviting – sorry, white walls, you’re benched.
Next up, we added a fab gallery wall of nature-inspired prints, arranged with just the right amount of ‘organised chaos’ to go with the natural feel of the room. It’s the perfect mix of personal and Pinterest-worthy – and guaranteed to make your colleagues jealous on those Zoom calls.
The pièce de résistance? A pop of blush with the velvet chair and that woven rattan cabinet adding in some texture. Together, they transformed this once-drab room into a stylish haven that’ll have our client happily clocking in for the 9-to-5.

2. A wow-worthy open plan kitchen

At My Bespoke Room, we believe everyone deserves a wow-worthy home, and that’s why we were so in love with this before and after from 2024 – from construction site to jaw-dropping kitchen, this space is truly amazing.
If you’ve ever been through a home renovation, you’ll know the struggle is real. The dust, the chaos, the takeaways (OK, maybe that part’s not so bad). So when the dust settled on this project, the transformation felt nothing short of magical. What started as a construction site became a sleek, timeless, and family-friendly kitchen that delivers the ultimate wow factor.
One of our talented interior designers worked closely with the client to nail every stylistic choice. From the herringbone flooring to the rich green, shaker style cabinets, every detail was chosen to create a space that’s as practical as it is stunning.
And let’s not forget the lighting – a perfect mix of recessed spotlights for a calming glow and statement pendants that add personality. And those finishing touches – from the colour palette to the accessories – they tie the whole space together, making it feel warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish.

3. Boring to bold: A dreamy bathroom

If you’ve been here for a while, you would know that we’re big fans of a bold bathroom – they turn often bland and neglected spaces into something totally wow-worthy that is bound to leave your guest’s jaws dropped!
Gone are the dull grey walls and lifeless fixtures, and in their place? A joyful, personality-packed space that feels fresh, fun, and full of life. The blush pink walls immediately soften the room and create a warm, welcoming vibe – because who said bathrooms can’t have charm?
The terrazzo splashback is a real showstopper, with its playful pops of colour tying together the tones in the room. It’s bold yet timeless, giving the space heaps of character without feeling overpowering.
The sage green vanity unit is the ultimate mix of style and function. With its ribbed detailing and open shelving, it’s practical without compromising on aesthetics. Add to that the matte gold fixtures and statement black-framed mirror, and you’ve got a space that’s contemporary, cohesive, and full of clever design details.

4. A teal attic bedroom with a stunning wall mural

Transforming this new-build attic bedroom was all about injecting colour, character, and charm into what was once a vast, plain and uninspiring space.
The teal wall mural is the true showstopper here, turning an empty wall into a captivating focal point that instantly draws the eye. Its organic shapes and rich hues bring a sense of movement and depth, perfectly complementing the unique angles of the attic space. It’s bold, fresh, and the touch of personality this room needed!
To balance the mural’s dramatic flair, the rest of the room was kept light and airy with crisp white walls and a neutral palette. And let’s talk about those built-in wardrobes – not just a storage saviour, but a total design win! The sleek shaker-style panels add a modern touch while blending seamlessly into the space.
This transformation is one of our favourites because it’s so relatable. We’ve all started with a space that’s bare and a let’s face it, a little soul-less, but here, it’s been turned into a showstopping room that truly reflects the client’s personality while making the most of every square inch. Now, it’s not just a bedroom – it’s a dreamy retreat that’s practical, stylish, and full of charm.

4. Colour drenching

This living room may be our very favourite before and after from 2024, not only does the space incorporate the earthy tones, mid-century pieces and organic shapes that we were loving in 2024, but the overall space simply feels lighter, bigger and so much calmer!
Gone is the cluttered, chaotic space that felt cramped and busy. In its place, we now have a beautifully balanced room that’s both stylish and functional. With our suggestion to scrap the divider wall and stick to the open plan feel, the lounge was instantly made to feel so much airier.
Scaling was another game-changer here. Our designers swapped out the oversized L-shaped sofa for a much sleeker (and effortlessly stylish) green three-seater. And no seating was sacrificed – a multi-functional ottoman now doubles as both a coffee table and extra seating, while a Scandi-style accent chair adds elegance and comfort. The addition of mid-century-inspired side tables is the cherry on top, offering plenty of table top space and a pop of character.
What truly makes this space shine, though, is how personalised it feels. The client’s love for houseplants and vintage treasures is seamlessly woven into the design, giving the room a cosy, lived-in vibe that feels totally unique. From the carefully curated decor to the clever use of space, this living room is warm, welcoming, and downright swoon-worthy – a design triumph that has everyone at My Bespoke Room in love!
