This open plan living and dining room showcases a stylish and modern design, defined by three distinct zones: the lounge, dining area, and entrance hall.
The lounge area is anchored by a large rug, creating a welcoming space for relaxation and entertainment. The soft light grey sofa is complemented by comfortable green accent armchairs placed strategically to maintain light without blocking windows. A plum-hued ottoman serves as both a functional piece and a splash of color, offering a choice between a darker sofa or a more vibrant plum option.
A feature wall painted in deep grey houses a bespoke TV unit that cleverly conceals the TV when not in use, while the surrounding walls are adorned in a soft neutral tone with raised paneling for added texture. Wall art adds visual interest and color, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
In the dining area, fitted seating is accented by a large mirror that reflects light and ambient illumination from a low-hanging pendant light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Various dining chair options are available, including green and neutral choices, catering to different preferences while avoiding the overused velvet upholstery.
As guests enter, a console table against the feature wall matched to the TV wall color draws attention, enhancing the visual appeal of the entrance space. A contrasting light grey high-backed armchair invites comfort, and a decorative table lamp adds further ambient light. The timber screen beautifully zones this area while allowing a clear view into the expansive open plan space.
Decorative elements such as geo-patterned cushions, a gallery mirror, and vibrant wall art breathe life into the design, with a palette that balances soft neutrals and pops of red and green for a visually cohesive environment.
