Elegant Home Office Design with Natural Elements
Designer's Edit
This home office combines functionality with a serene aesthetic. The room features a gently sloped ceiling and soft beige walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A sleek desk in a natural wood finish with black legs offers ample work space. Positioned atop the desk is a monitor, ensuring an organized and modern setup. An adjustable desk lamp adds task lighting, complementing the overall design.
The ergonomic office chair, upholstered in a light fabric, promotes comfort during long working hours. Near the desk, a cozy pouf in a textured cream fabric adds a touch of softness and can serve as extra seating or a footrest.
For decor, a potted plant brings a hint of greenery, enhancing the connection to nature, while the large glass doors lead to an outdoor view, allowing natural light to flood the space. This setup creates a refreshing environment for productivity.
A stylish floor lamp in a matte black finish provides additional illumination and serves as a statement piece in the corner. A wool rug in cream and charcoal coordinates beautifully, while a small side table offers space for personal items or drinks. The room is equipped with essential elements, balanced with a touch of elegance, making it a perfect home office retreat.
Hi Paloma,
I’m delighted to share your final room design and product suggestions. Don’t forget to click on the video under your moodboard to watch your virtual design presentation!
Product Suggestions:
If you scroll down from your design, you will find your product list with all my recommended items. If you click on "alternatives," you'll find even more options for each category. There’s a favourites button on each product, so feel free to click it! That way, we can chat about your top picks since I’ll be able to see which ones you like best, as does your shopper Jess!
I have specified all items based on the dimensions and information you provided in your brief but it’s always worth double checking that you’re happy with the size of larger furniture items/light fittings before placing your order. Also that you have the appropriate delivery access into your property.
Upholstery:
Where possible the shopping support team will organise samples for your upholstered items. It’s really important to check you’re happy with the colour/sample before ordering as colour representation on screens can vary. If you require any additional samples just let them know and they will be happy to help.
Cushion:
Certain retailers supply cushion cover only and it will state this in the title of the item so if you need the inner cushion don't forget to add that to your basket as a separate item.
Window Dressing:
I have included some great options for the style of window dressing in your room. All window dressing needs to be ordered in the correct size for your window(s) - to do this simply click the link on the window dressing suggestions, enter the size and you can place the order directly with the retailer.
Art:
I have suggested some great pieces of artwork that I believe will pull together your scheme beautifully. However, art is such a personal choice, so do feel free to use these options as a guide if the pieces I’ve suggested don’t quite hit the mark!
Budget Notes:
The overall room design has been pulled together with your budget in mind, however I have also dropped in a few special pieces that you may want to invest in, as I believe this could bring an additional wow factor, such as Aska Lamp. Have a good look through all the alternatives and remember you can swap things around to balance your budget as you like.
Shop Direct:
There is a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder, and therefore we are unable to offer it as part of our shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you directly to the retailer site.
Once you’ve had the time to digest the design, please let me know if you have any questions. As a reminder, you have two weeks to come back to me with any questions on the design.
Warm Wishes,
Mariana
