Creative Corner
Designers Edit
This playroom, aptly named the Creative Corner, is designed to inspire imagination and creativity. The walls are painted in a soft, calming green, creating a serene backdrop for playful activities. A large window allows abundant natural light to flow into the room, enhancing the cheerful atmosphere. Central to the room is a sleek white metal TV unit that serves as storage for toys and supplies. It sits adjacent to a charming white piano, inviting musical exploration. Above the piano, a collection of framed art pieces add vibrancy, featuring playful designs and a cheerful color palette. A stylish white office chair is strategically placed, providing a comfortable seat for craft projects or reading. Underneath, a woven jute rug in shades of turquoise softens the space and adds texture, while a round seagrass basket offers a spot for storing small toys. The room is subtly accessorized with indoor plants, adding life and freshness to the atmosphere. A black-and-white soccer ball rests on the floor, hinting at the playful spirit that defines the space. Overall, this Creative Corner serves as a joyful haven for play and learning.
HI,
I’m delighted to share your final room design and product suggestions. Don’t forget to click on the video under your moodboard to watch your virtual design presentation!
Product Suggestions:
If you scroll down from your design you will find your product list with all my recommended items. If you click on "alternatives," you'll find even more options for each category. There’s a favourites button on each product, so feel free to click it! That way, we can chat about your top picks since I’ll be able to see which ones you like best as does your shopper Jess!
Paint:
I have included some great paint colour suggestions for your room design with handy links so you can order any samples you want and then your chosen paint directly from the retailer when you are ready. It’s always best to use the retailer's paint calculator, or your decorator's estimate for paint quantity.
Plants:
I have included a great selection of real and/or faux plants for your room with some lovely planter options also. Please be sure to check the size of the planter or basket fits the plant pot of the plant you have chosen if you select an option from the alternatives! You can purchase the real plants through our shopping service if you wish or you can use this as a style guide and source them from a local garden centre.
Budget Notes:
The overall room design has been pulled together with your budget in mind, however I have also dropped in a few special pieces that you may want to invest in, as I believe this could bring an additional wow factor!
Have a good look through all the alternatives and remember you can swap things around to balance your budget as you like.
Art:
I have suggested some great pieces of artwork that I believe will pull together your scheme beautifully. However, art is such a personal choice, so do feel free to use other options.
There is a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder, and therefore we are unable to offer it as part of our shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you directly to the retailer site. Examples of this are: IKEA.
Once you’ve had the time to digest the design, please let me know if you have any questions. As a reminder, you have two weeks to come back to me with any questions on the design.
Warm Wishes,
Nicole
