Our designers recommend products from a wide variety of retailers. This way, you get best possible choice and value, helping you achieve your perfect room in style and on budget.
Once you have your completed brief, you have two or three weeks design time with your designer depending on the package you choose. Post design, you have a further one to two weeks to ask your designer any questions. Typically, we're done and dusted anywhere between 10-15 working days.
Don't worry, we also offer an Express Service that delivers your design in a speedy five working days. Just remember, we need all your brief information complete so we can get going! Turbo charging your transformation takes a little more creative juice, so costs an extra £75.
Once you've completed the brief, you'll get a link to your Account Dashboard. You can upload photos and room dimensions to give your designer a really good impression of your room. If you’re up for it, you can even send us a video of the room on the CHAT.
On the kick off call with your designer, they will also ask you to describe your space in more detail and dig a bit deeper into your preferences.
Worried about the room dimensions? Don’t be! A quick scribble of your room layout with key dimensions is perfect. Remember to include the length of each wall, ceiling height and window/door locations.
We can’t get started without this key information, so it’s best to give us this information as soon as you can.
Our goal is to create the best possible design for your space, on brief and on budget. The more information you can provide us with, the better.
After you complete the brief, you’ll be able to access your Account Dashboard where you’ll find all the details that we need to get started, and they’re easy to upload. The things we need are room photos, a floor plan with key dimensions and any inspiration images that you love. If you have Pinterest boards or Houzz Ideabooks, you can share the links on your dashboard too. As soon as we have this, we can get cracking!
Watch our video to learn the three things we need to get you started.
We always aim to work within the budget that you provide us with and source items accordingly. Trust us, we love a challenge and are experts in tracking down your desired décor at a desirable price.
As a rule of thumb, your budget should cover all your key items and accessories selected in your brief. Make sure you communicate the overall budget with your designer if you are making larger changes, such as replacing your flooring and they need to allow for this when sourcing furniture.
After an initial 30 mins phone or Skype call with your designer, you can connect and collaborate using the built-in chat function on your Account Dashboard. It's all done online to make it easy, quick and convenient.
Don’t panic! You get the chance to speak to your designer to discuss the brief and chat through the all-important details. This collaborative process between customer and designer ensures that we’re all on the same page.
You can make changes to your brief right up until the point the design direction and floor layouts are agreed. After this point if your brief changes then we will have to charge you a little more to cover the extra time.
We build in an extra one/two weeks buffer zone after your design is complete. You can use this time to ask any questions. The process is collaborative and detailed, therefore it’s rare that changes are needed. However, if you do feel like small tweaks may be needed, now is the time to mention it.
After this, you'll need to contact My Bespoke Room HQ at hello@mybespokeroom.com.
Yes, absolutely. We can advise on flooring options as well as paint and wallpaper as part of your design to make sure everything works seamlessly towards the look you're after.
We do indeed. From cafes to beauty salons and office spaces to waiting rooms, we're helping more and more companies achieve affordable interior design solutions. Feel free to get in touch at hello@mybespokeroom.com and we can chat about all things commercial.
When it comes to kitchens the layouts are normally designed by a specialist kitchen provider. However, we can work with you on the look and feel, incorporating, tiles, colours, floors, handles. Just get in touch at hello@mybespokeroom.com for a bespoke quote.
We love a good bathroom, but as they take longer to design, we have to charge £450 per bathroom design. As part of the process we will give you bathroom layout options that you MUST check with your plumber/builder, as you may have restriction on where pesky pipes can go.
We get asked this so much and are in the process of including approved tradesmen into our service. In the meantime, send us a note to hello@mybespokeroom.com and we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.
Of course we can. Bespoke by name and all that. We'll provide you with inspirational images to show your approved contractor what you wish to achieve in line with your room design, along with a floor plan to show where any bespoke items will be positioned. They'll need to take the final measurements in order to create full joinery details and make the item to brief. Please bear in mind that at the moment, we cannot advise on which contractor to use in every case.
Larger furniture items often require a layout to be drawn to scale to ensure that it all fits and therefore, if you need larger furniture items sourcing, you would be better suited to one of our Complete Design Experience Packages.
